PoultryFest Shopping Centre


We are excited for NEW Changes this year…“The Shopping Centre” will be located on the main festival site at the West Niagara Agricultural Centre. Watch for periodic updates to our Vendor List and Booth Layout…2017 list (as of March 30th) now available!

***Please check the current Vendor List prior to submitting your Application Form to assist us in allocating your preferred spot choices***

The Shopping Centre features hand made crafts and manufactured items. Act now and reserve your spot! $50 secures your 10x10 indoor area or your 11x11 outdoor area. Hydro spots are available for an additional $10. This a “RAIN or SHINE” event! Outdoor grass vendors need to remember to bring any cover required to stay dry or shaded. There are 22 11’x11’ covered outdoor spots located on concrete flooring near the main Shopping Centre building. The outdoor spots on the grassy area are all 11’x11’. All indoor spots are 10’x10’ on concrete floor with rubber matting. Vendor spots are conveniently located with easy access to the Public Washrooms. There will be an Entertainment Stage nearby for your enjoyment!


***IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the fabulous response and interest in this year’s PoultryFest Shopping Centre, ALL indoor Vendor Spaces are now FULL…but we still have fantastic Outdoor spaces to choose from!

Egg Toss

As the Egg Drop comes to an end - the fun will continue for the little ones at PoultryFest! Join us for our Egg Toss competition for kids 4 and under.

Egg Toss will take place at approximately 5:00pm, outside the Richardson Building.

PoultryFest 2017 Registration Form

PoultryFest Poultry Show is designed to be fun, entertaining and educational, and to promote the showing of poultry.

Entry Fee*: $1.00 per exhibit. Must accompany completed entry form.
*No entry fee required for Juniors (16 and under)
All exhibits must be placed in cages before 9 a.m. Saturday, June 24th and remain in cages until 5:00 p.m. Judging to start at 9:15 a.m. with an open concept at the time of judging. Please note that this show is a APA ABA Sanctioned Meet!

Entries must be submitted by Tuesday, June 13,  2017.
Committee reserves the right to double coop, if necessary..

Just outside the Richardson building, “Touch a Truck” will be taking place! Come look, feel & get inside large vehicles of all kinds - from farm equipment, to transport trucks to township vehicles.

Near our Fun Zone, keep an eye out for our latest game: duck races! Take your turn using a water pump to move your rubber duckie down the line faster than your friends!

At the pond alongside Grimsby Road, come watch a professional remote control boat club from Burlington display their beautiful motorcrafts.

Poultry Discovery Centre

Stop by this interactive show and learn all there is to know about our fine feathered friends.  Take a minute to watch Mother Nature work her miracles with our hatchery display.  Chat with the experts and don’t forget to collect informative handouts from our industry partners and their representatives.

Penny Sale

This year PoultryFest Niagara has once again been joined by West Lincoln Community Care for our Giant Penny Sale! Community Care is a not for profit organization which supports families in the West Lincoln area. With it’s many volunteers, they provide support programs to assist the community. Last year this joint venture was a big success and we are very excited to have West Lincoln Community Care on board with us again!

Be sure to check out the many items in this year’s Penny Sale (in the Community Centre) while you are at the West Niagara Agricultural Centre. Try your luck at winning some awesome prizes!

The sale starts at 8 am and tickets will be sold until 3 pm. From 3 to 3:30 pm, volunteers from West Lincoln Community Care will draw for the winning ticket numbers and post them up for all to see by 3:30 pm. Prizes can then be claimed between 3:30 and 4:30 pm.

Come buy your tickets in support of this very worthy cause!

Egg Drop Competition

The renowned Egg Drop Competition is back!

Take part in one of following age categories: 5-7, 8-12, 13+

Registration will be held on the day of the festival starting at 9am. Look for a table in the Richardson Building.

Competitions to take place outdoors, around the Richardson Building.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your age category.
5-7 starts at 1:30pm
8-12 starts at approx 2:00pm
13+ starts at approx 2:30pm

Last year’s champion managed to catch an egg dropped from 63 feet!

How we could have PoultryFest without a wing eating contest!

This perennial favourite is back again ... and we’re looking to crown a new champion!

Registration opens at 9am - in the Richardson Building - and closes by 12:30pm. Participants must be 18+ years, and are chosen by lottery.

Special thanks to The Smithville Pizzaria for providing the delicious wings for this competition.

Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place participants: PoultryFest Souvenir vouchers! Redeemable inside the Shopping Centre, located within the Richardson Building.
